As the JCCI’s new President, I am honored to help carry on the mission that has guided the JCCI for more than seventy-five years: to foster and promote friendship and economic relations between the United States and Japan. Especially during these severe economic times, we recognize that it is our friendships and business connections that will help us to weather this “once in a hundred years” storm. Your support of the goals of the JCCI will ensure that we are able to continue our mission of mutual understanding and cooperation between the United States and Japan. And it your wisdom, enthusiasm and encouragement that will help the JCCI to meet new needs and keep up with changes in the areas of both business and culture. I look forward to your active participation and cooperation in the year ahead. ご挨拶 JCCI会頭 品川 道久(米国住友商事会社社長)
